Random Updates..

Finally, I m bizzi with work for some time.
In spite of this, there is a huge respite in meeting with almost all my frends on weekends and partying with them.

I enjoyed the football matches like never before... food and drinks and matches... made all d time so special :)))
Zindane's moemnt of madness also made me mad... and I was about to cry for that :((

Made it a point to meet all closed pals in Bangie once a week... as lifes so fast dat no idea when the good old times will come back :))
Finally, feels gr8 to have my time for myself, lately. Those who care for me and been with me for ages now... are happy again to see me back with them.
FRIENDS, the only invaluable treasure I have earned in my life, again are part of the life!!

Watched corporate, a good movie, must watch for all of u :)))

Been to temple and spent my entire evening there, feels so good, renergised and again back to fight with life !!!

Mumbai Blast made me feel that lifes can't be taken for granted and no place is safe in d world now :))
But, the life and show must go on untill it comes to an end !!!
Being working in one of the "soft Targets"(ITPL) for Terrrorist in bangalore make me feel insecure :((

Last week, in Garuda Mall, some Kannada activist vandalised Radio City's show for Radio is airing too much of English or Hinglish.. or whtever except Kannada. A mob of 10-15 comes in and takes on everything, breaks/pulls down/throws all the things at the stage/platform of Radio City. Nobody from among the 500 mute/helpless spectators and securities came forward to stop this. Life in no way is secure...
Destruction is so easy than Creation....

No update on music front, as no new good albums and my treasure of songs is also kinda dried up now :))

Just a while ago, won a T-shirt in Radio Mirchi's "solve Su-Do-ku within 10 min." Contest. But, I always love solving kakuro more dan Sudoku :).

Loongg...Weekend

It was a long weekend as I took Friday Off and took my Family to one day Mysore Trip.
It was a wonderful trip... and with family around, it always is Joyful and memorable !!
Mysore is a very good place and I liked all the places I visited !!! [ Soon to be Added: Trip Pics ]
Anybody in for a bike trip for Mysore in nearby future??
Saturday spent in lazying around at home (Flat turns into Home when ur Family is here :P ),
called my pals for the delicious lunch prepared at Home by Mom !!
Sorry Maa, for all d trouble of preapring a lunch, after a tiring trip a day before !!

Sunday, watched Fanna , not upto the expectations [:(]
Dont understand, why Aamir did this film?? [:O] Kajol's comeback is welcome !!
But in a way, movie is not that good considering the hype it had before its release !!!
First Half is good.. but the pace slows down and story /screenplay goes for a six in teh second Half !!!

Anyways, had a real nice time, after a loooooong timeeeeeeeeee !!!!!

Sleepless Night !!

Got up at around 3:30 from the middle of a dead sleep. May be I was thinking a lot before going to sleep about so many things around that my mind was not stable to sleep.

Thinking continued for another half an hour but still was unable to sleep or even act of sleeping. Anyways I was alone in the flat and was unable to sleep, so thought of putting some music on FM radio will help me to go to sleep.Grr.. even that din't work. so after sometime, tried fiddling with this new cell of my roomie which I got exchanged just now for a day. It din't had any of my frends number, so started storing numbers of pals. But then fed up with that too, as its battery was low and the charger was not with me :(

By this time, thought of playing guitar, but them turned to find my canon manual to learn more abt my digicam. Started searching the manual all over places in the flat and in a way cleaned my cupboard in d middle of the night just to find a small manual. By this time, radio started cribbing for low battery, so searched for its pencil cells and put on one to keep it going.
So helpless after such an extensive search too couldn't find it. (Why MS doesn't have any search function which will find lost items in a house :( ). Then got hold of this book of "7 Habits" and started reading first prev. chapters of this :) Read around 10-15 pages and felt so nice after reading it!! Then felt like sleep is around d corner. So, folded the book and tried to sleep.. lowed down volume of FM and den pata nahi kab (almost 6 ho gaye the shaayad).. went to sleep.

Its jsut one of those restless sleepless night. Pata nahi... when I'll get rid of this ??

Falling Sick

The head is aching like somebody continuosly hammeing there
the body is in pain like somebody peircing needles all around
the voice is heavy like somebody tightening my neck..
the coughing reminds me of a BMTC Bus running its engine On-Off
are all the signs suggest tht  I M falling sick...
no no.. don't suggest me a Doctor, I hate them
I hate the smell of medicines too...
The body needs a rest as thts wht I think now !!!

New Year Celebration !!

The Picture says it all. I had a blast this new year witrh all my frends. Aaha, though I just had a couple of sips [:P], other public went all crazy.
We erected a Shamiana on the terrace, a CD player with some HIT CDs, and food cooked at home by ourselves and some ordered snacks. The party went on till midnight and after that it was sharing experiences of past year and all that stuff. Nobody was in his senses and we had a real FUN !!
Gossh.. bachelor ppl parties ROCKS !!

The guy waiting anxiously for someone at the CCD, "Its so close to her place, still she is taking so much time.. these girls..  can never come on time !!"
cursing himself for coming to meet her from so long.

"aaha.. aaiye Madam.. I dunno really ki u will come so early" sarcastically welcoming his girl who just stepped in.

"Sorry yaar, you know how busy I am. This work, deadlines and my TL came just by the time  I was leaving."
She came with her as usual excuse for which He neither agrees to her nor can argue with her.

"OK, whatever, so what the plan now? I was waiting to meet you for so long now, and thankfully you said Yes this time."

He pursued her literally to meet this time. Its been a long time they are friends.
He met her online some year back in some online community where both were searching for the same song. He got the song and mailed her back and they both got started.
Firstly, a few mails exchanged. Both came quite closer virtually and exchanging phone numbers was obvious. The virtual relation became reality when both heard each other.

"C'mon, I am so busy these days, u know that. and U know what happened today..." as She started her quack-quack, He came back to present from the flashback.

"So, what you gonna have today?" He interrupted her nonstop, singlebreath quack-quack as the waiter was beside them to take the order.

"Wow.. Thanks again to you dear, U came outta ur busy schedule and I got a chance to spend such a lovely evening to u !!" He thakfully looked at her as they were coming out of the hotel.

"C'mon again. Don't embaraas me... chalo ab next time kab?" She seems to be happy with the meet too !! "Great" he murmered.

"Hey.. somethings ringing... is that ur cell?" He said while checking his own pockets for cell.
"Naah.. I think its urs.." She told him after checking into her purse.

"I think its a doorbell, get up and open the door, u nerd?" His roomie shouted at him from his bed and got immeresed into his book he was reading.
"Mann.. I was with Her and u such a bad, can't u go urself to open teh door?" He cursing his roomie from waking him up from his dream.

"Hey... did She again said No to meet u?" His roomie aked smiling at him.

Shooting phone bills !!

Since I shifted to Banglore, my phone bills shoot up like the rocket is shooting into the sky to reach the heights!!
And with every passsing month, its breaking earlier months record..
so, if I m not calling u as frequently I used to donàt blame me...
This is one disadvatage u have once u move ouutaa ur home circle !!

Anyways.. this is just a test blog to test whetehr I can post via email or not !!

Corruption ki Jayy ho !!

It was already around 10.30PM, I was returning back from railway station by dropping Shuchi there. I was not sure about the roads, so was asking ricksha-wallas, fellow bikers for the MG road. I entered some road (Infantry road, came to know about it later) and was just about to race my bike to speed, I found some traffic inspectors ahead, before I make a U-Turn and run from behind, I already landed into their arms. OMG, what a holy crap !! And he was not alone, there was this looting happening with some 7-8 inspectors stopping all the vehicles going through that road and I was just one of the victims who got into their trap L

The conversation between me and Traffic Inspector goes like this …

TP: Take the helmet out, where from you coming?

Me: (Taking my helmet out) coming from station, Sir.

He came close, and was leaning in front of me to sniff whether I am drunk or not? ( I worried, what he is trying to do ?)
Me: Sir, I’m not drunk.

TP: Show me the license, the papers, too.

Me: (Took out my license from the wallet and handed over to him)I don’t have the papers though, Sir.

TP spoke for 2-3 minutes in Kannada and I was a dumb audience he got. After he finished,

Me: Sir, I don’t understand Kannada, either Hindi or English.

TP: 700 Rs. (200 for ‘a’ and 500 for ‘b’). Give now or collect ur license from the court, now go.

Me: (Opening my wallet and showing him the last 20/- bucks that are there)Sir, no money.(trying to be as innocent as I can). 700 is too much, please Sir, Kam nnahi ho sakata kya ??.

TP: (asking me to park my vehicle on the corner of the road) no. 700 is final.

Me: (parked my vehicle. By that time, TP moved to other guy whom his fellow mates have just stopped, I was trying to catch this TP who already got busy with other guy)Sir, no money, Sir. 700 is too much, can’t u come down?

TP: Go to ATM and bring the money, we’ll settle later.

Me: OK.

Got out of that trap, went ahead in search of an ATM nearby, thankfully found one ICICI. Uff, yahan bhi waiting at this time of night. Anyways, got money and wanted to go back to the spot, but it was one way. So, like a good boy, took another road to go back again to this road. And within no time, lost myself on the roads, having no idea which place it was and all one-ways made it worse to locate it again. Anyways, reached there somewhere, no idea.

Found that TP still busy with his work, went near to him.

Me: Sir, I got 400, that’s the max amount I have, what to do?

TP: Ok, gimme 400 and take your license.

Me: (with blank face), Sir, its too much, can’t u come down ??

TP: OK, give me 300.(Must be fwd up by my bargaining)

Me: (Gave 300 bucks, took my license from him and waiting for the receipt. To my surprise, he kept all the money in his pocket. Then I thought, this bribe to get outta from here, is too much.) Sir, 300 is too much and even no receipt.

TP: (Gave back my 100 Rs. and asked me to leave.)

Me: (Taking my 100 back, got away from that place ASAP)

I thought to myself, without NOC, without road tax, without any documents, without proper number on the bike (6972 is just 697 after 2 lost his life some days backL ), 200 bucks is not that bad a deal. Anyways, was thinking about this bribe, I think, we always want the better and faster deal and end up paying money to people rather than to government. Whatever, like it or not, Corruption is here to stay !!!

I even had to pay the bribe for my police verifications for passport, just to move my files across the police station faster, while the other files were just sitting at the table.
It was the same case for driving license too... those going for license without any agents, will have to wait a long time before their turn come up :(

!!! Jay ho… corruption ki jay ho…. !!!

When was the last time u paid the bribe ??

Weekend update..

This weekend was cool...
done nothing fruitful...
except giving my HARINI for servicing...
slept like anything...
shopped till no penny left...
watched Harry Potter... din't liked it tht much...
may be I was expecting a lot from this new sequel [:(] !!

and again.. here.. back on monday morning.. !!

Bangie Times !!

Here I am in Banglore from past couple of weeks !!
Workdays are okies.. as usual..
but weekends are great and seems to be never ending !!
Its great to meet all ur best frends in one city... and spend the entire weekend with them !!
The more of it.. when they learned to cook and feed u such a home made food .. Yeah... my frend Shuchi, he started cooking and its nice to be at his place on weekend !!
anyway.. others are a great company too !!

Banglore seems to be happening as of now..

the main machine is down...
no mails coming...
no updates on Orkut...

[K]Night Riders !!!

I was exhausted by the days work ... and when I reached my flat, it was already past 9.30 PM!!
I laid there on the bed.. and Heaven... so relaxed I was !! Even I was not in a mood to go out for a weekend. I love Friday nights ...where U can sleep as much as U want 'coz of the weekend next day !!
Tring-Tring.. and the $*((# Cell got up b4 me.... "Samya, where r u ?? Can u be here at Deccan ??"
Few frends from my hometown Nanded were here !! Shit.. I forgot in a bizi day that they are here and U supposed to come early to see them. OK... Where I was not going to have mmy dinner, now I need to dress-up again to go to Deccan all the way to mee to old School Pals !!
Hmmm.. I was kinda late but managed to be at Kamat Hotel on JM Road at around 10.30... I reached there.. and these ppl were coming out .. :( Sad.. How could I eat all alone ??
Anyways, forget the dinner, The pals were here.. such a warm big hug.... by everybody literally fills energy in you !! As it was a cold night, the warm hug was definitely an easy escape to u. We were ready to wander here and there... 3 bikes.. 6 ppl.. one night !!!
Such a nice plot ... First we stormed into Naturals .. I love their ice-creams !! I guess they had a better taste than others... Anyways, we were busy with cones in our hand.. and watching the cute chicks around :x !! It always feels gr8 when u r with ur bestesttttt Buddiessss.. who can actually read ur mind and know u from inside out !! Spent half an hour there... discussed where we wanted to be next for around 15 min... and moved to FC road !!!
The CCD was about to close.. and we were just beside Roopali where u can get a nice coffee while chatting with ur pals !! And I was already hungry .. so was having some chips and all tht while our chat was heating up. All d way giggeling, laughing loudly in d night, pulling each others legs... sharing every lighter moemnt that we experienced after our last meet.... It all was AMAZING !!

One small boy approached us with his lotsa baloons.. "Are yaar... yahan pe ek bhi ladki nahi ...jisako ye khareed ke de sakoon.. agarmeri GF hoti to saare khareed leta...." said one of us loudly.
There was this couple beside there... I said to the small boy to go to them and ask the girl to buy it. The small boy as said... appraoced the girl.. and she asked her BF to get this.. Bichara... had to buy all ... The small boy was happy ... and soon all d baloons were with the girls ....I thought lets get close to her.. and ask her for how much she is selling them ;) But stopped myself from doing something like this !!!
Soon, the ballons got distributed amongst the two..and the baloon fight was in the air !! We were the only specators of it as it involved a beautiful girl after all.Anyways, u justcan't watch that too for a long time... we moved our Adda from coffee shop to Sagar Arcade.. the famous spot !!!

Last weekend of Nov.

Hmmm.... again it was a nice weekend !!

Saturday :

Seen the movie "HulChal" ... had a dinner outside (as usual) ... roaming on the streets of FC and MG.
The exams are going on for most of the students, so was not rush on these roads and so, the happening crowd was missing from here ;)
Anyways, if you are looking for a review of "HulChal", here it goes ...
The movie has a large number of characters having role for everybody. So, actually you couldn't find who is the main hero or heroine of the film if you exclude the songs from the film !!
Priyadarshan is still have not found that "HeraPheri" touch back. This movie is not near to "HeraPheri" or even "Hungama". Kareena sucks... ( I don't like her, may be thats the reason !!)
Akshaye and Arshad Warsi stands out, the comedy is sufficient to make you laugh sometimes cheaply. The action is also there as everybody is shown as a DADA kinda macho person !!
Don't expect the story of a film here.... its not worth mentioning !!

Sunday :

The day started late as usual and when I had enough sleep before and after lunch, we [me and Shuchi] got out in the evening !!!
Shuchi wanted to buy a pair of Formal Shoes, so again it was head to MG road !!
Been to Lee-Cooper's show room there, and he got his shoe selected within half an hour. So less time for such an expensive shopping !!
Then as we were near to Nachi's [ our college Buddy.. now rarely get to see his smiling face ] home, so called him there at MG and waited for him for another half an hour !!
Had a great time once he was there, sat at Marg-O-Rin, had some snacks there and departed after a long chat and timepass !!
Its really great to meet the old pals and revise the memories and share some new experiences !!!
After that, came back home in the night and ready to face the monday and 5 working days that were on their way !!

Winter is here ....

"Samyak, you have to get up tommorrow early for a gym, its been long time that you are avoiding it. Try to get up early and come into the routine", I said to myself [ as usual ] while sleeping. The cell was set to ring at 6.30 in the morning !!
The cell, "what the hell with this cell, can't it keep silence !!", I was disturbed in my sugar-sleep. Shit !!
"Its already 6.40 and Samyak, u have to go to gym", I mumered in sleep... "Yeah ..I will .. just a nap for 10 more minutes". I tightened my shawl around me and went back to my sugar-sleep for more 1.5 hours !!
The winter is really started and its getting more cold everyday. The sleep in the morning is just unavoidable.
The sweaters need to get out of the bag. The morning sunshine is just like one more warm bath..!!
Everything is so beautiful around. Some ppl say winter is better than Summer and Monsoon as it neither have unbearable high temperatures nor the daily raining !! You just have to wear some warmth cloths like sweaters !!
Due to coldness of the winter, my laziness just blossoms to its high. Sleeping til the sun knocks on your window, and in the night, go to the bed for warmth so early, the winter brings me more sleep than normal.
Hopefully, I start to work out early from the next week, I need to !!
Need to adjust to the rising winter.

The meaning of Samyak

Almost everybody I met is curious about my name. Its so unique and never-heard-before name.
The origin of "Samyak" is in Sanskrit language. "Samyak" means "Perfect" or "Ideal" or "Complete".
The word "Samyak" is being used by Jain and Buddha communities from the ancient times.
Interesting name ... and also has some interesting history !!

Weekend !!

This weekend it was Mughal-E-Aazam. We need to run a lot to watch the movie, as it was sunday all shows were running to packed houses. We run from E-Square to Inox to Alankaar. And at last got it at Alankar. [ This hall has a very bad sound system :( ].

What a movie !!! Gr8 artwork. Intense scenes... and a nice battlefield !!!

K.Asif's work is just brilliant. The prominent roles of Salim [DilipKumar], Anarkali [Madhubala], Akbar [Prithviraj Kapoor] and Salim's mother , Ajit's role of Salim's friend are all well written and played perfectectly by these fine actors.

Most of the scenes between Akbar and Anarkali will stand out. The dialagues mainly influneced by Urdoo are worth a clap for !! And should I mention anything about the music and songs ... ??

Madhubala looks superb ... and no question about her acting skills too !! She brings life to the character of Anarkali. She steals the show !!

All in all, a worth movie here to watch for, such a great epic and such a sacrificial Love-Story !!
At least its far far far better than those foolish SRK movies like Veer-Zara and all those running around !!
WORTH A WATCH !!
