Trip to A'bad - Pune

Marriage: the most important and wonderful thing after birth to happen to the individual !!
One of my best friend and roommate for past so many years, and a wonderful person, Amit decided to tie the knot ASA he saw preeti in arranged function.
Result : we were summoned in no time to attend his marriage on 16th June.. and WE WERE THERE !!
The journey which started from home at 6:30PM in Bangalore on 14th night ended at 10 PM the next day in A'bad. The journey covered in Rick to Train to Bus to Rick again !! :P:D
I clicked loads of pics in d journey and that was the sole reason I loved my journey and wasn't that tired after 28 hours of cont. journey compared to Shuchi who accompanied me.
We got ready in an hours time and went to attend the Sangeet Program and dinner at the wedding venue.

Everybody is in dancing mood in the Sangeet Program.

It was a pleasant meet with him after such a long time, and also got to meet all d juniors from college who came to attend his wedding. Nice meet !!
Ppl were still in mood and were dancing to the popular tunes and DulheRaaja too joined them. ( He is very sporty in that manner )
The next day, clicked all-d-way smiling DulheRaja, attended his Baarat, danced a lil... and overall N'joyed the marriage and left A'bad at the stroke of 12 in d night for Pune.

A Smiling DulheRaja...

Mere yaar ki shaadi hai.. naachana to banataa hai

Tied for Eternity.

Wish Shuchi's family, Prasad's father and newly Wed.

Reached Pune early in d morning, its the same as it was a year before when I left Pune. Not a single thing changed. Even the potholes on the roads are at the same location. We called the friend where we were supposed to go. His cell was OFF. Called his roomie, he was away too. Called my friend again on his other number, (5:30AM in d morning), his brother picked it up and told me that the Friend is also at his native place, Nashik, and now sleeping. All in his home tried to wake him up, but the newly-wed Friend refused to get up from his bed ;). So, we were outside his flat ... restless... trying to find a place for freshning ourselves :(

Then I called my other friends living nearby, (They too were in dead sleep.. and Vishwas (Rahul's Roomie) answered only after calling them continuously for 4-5 times). At Rahul's place, spend time for couple of hours, went to one of other friends from there to collect his bike *CBZ* for the day for me. Then called Bhau *Ulhaas*. It was nice meeting him.. and felt great hearing that he is a proud father now :))) Had * Poha* (Such a huge break from Uttapa/Idli/Wada sambaar) in a breakfast. Had two... as I knew I can't have it again in near future :((.

Then... The journey started to meet other friends in town. My lil sis is there, so first went to meet her in Deccan. Picked her up and went to Shri's ( He is currently in US..after his MS, working) place staightaway. His mother and father welcomed me, and it was very nice to talk to them after such a long time. Then took my sis to some other places and dropped her back to her hostel to meet to other friends. Called Prashant (and asked him to call otehrs) to CrossWord at 12. By that time, went to Kirti's place to meet her (as she had to go out and couldn't come to crossword). Thnx for the cold water she served in such a hot weather of Pune !! After half an hour and lotsa gupshup at her place, I said saayonara to her and left for CrossWord. 12 ka 1 ho gaya.. and still Sango aka Prashant ya kisi aur ka koi pataa nahi :( ( Prashant never keeps his time and I hate to wait for latecomers :x ). By the time, I went in crossword and checked some books, refreshed myself. I love Pune's crossword more than Bangie's. It was nice when I seen Sango after such a long time. Same smiling person, same excuse of traffic for being late.. !! We TPed at Crossword, clicked some pics.. called some other frends... and so came Ritesh, Sachin, Dinesh, Tushar. We moved to "Durga", a spot famous for its Egg-Bhurjee and Cold coffee. Thts the best hangout place in Kothrud, had 2 cold coffees for myself as I miss it a lot. called Prashant, who is in India currently. He also came, felt so nice to meet old classmate after such a long time. Then, it was already past 2 and I need to go back, pack my bags and leave for Airport. So, after that, I tata-byed all... and left for my place. An hour of TP at home with Rahul and frends... and den back on d way to Airport :))
He he he... On Airport, I met my best senior,Prashant (who ragged me in my FE Engg.), surprised a lot when he introduced me to his better half !! He promised me (or I made him promise me.. same diff u c :P) dinner at his place, I m still waiting ;))

The journey Ended within a couple of hours and we were back to Bangie... !!

3. Mysore Palace : No. 1 Palace in the world, 1 hour was not sufficient to see this marvellous structure, constructed for 15 years at teh cost of 27 lakhs around 1915. Mysore King hired one Civil Engr. from London for this civil excellance to build.

4. Temple at Chamudi Hills: At some 3K height from sea level, its a b'ful journey to the Hills. Nice place which gives a better view of Mysore from atop.

5, This Mahishasura was killed by the Godess Chamundi. Outside the temple, MahishaSura Looks so dashing, no?? :P:D

6. Mom feeding Prasadam to a roadside cow.

Trip to Hebbe Falls !!

Hebbe falls and Kemmangundi, residing to west of bangalore and around 300Km from here are famous as a honeymoon spot. Lotsa greenery, landscaped gardens and long long silver oak wood jungle make it a real beauty to watch out and ideal hill station destination for couples.
We made a quick decision on friday night for the trip and left banagalore on saturday night after dinner.
The journey started with all josh... masti in d van ... dancing ... singing all d fun until the driver fumed at us to stop all this in d van as he got irritated by banagalore traffic and to add to it, we were the dancing in d van like madd!! Anyways, we reached a village near to Kemmangundi at around 3:30 and it was too early and bad road to go to the place. So, parked our van outside one medical store and thought of sleeping for sometime there in d van. But, All tp and no sleeping, also made happy the medical shop owner by buying lotsa cadburys from him at such an odd hour [:P]. Re-Started the journey to Kemmangundi and reached there by 5:30am. Nobody was awake there at the guest house, nothing was visible till the sun started rising slowly, the nature around was looking beutiful, all bathed in the golden sunrays.

This is the site of the place from the rooftop of the guest house.

Got refreshed ourselves there in d guest house where one of us f'got his wallet in d restroom (change f'got to lost/stolen), just for kahaani me twist and a lil panic amongst us. But, we were soon normal and headed towards the hebbe falls now. Van reached to the midpoint and d rest of the journey was to be done by walking all d way to falls. The journey started gr8 and soon we divided into the parts depending on how fast/slow we were walking. It was a lovely/dusty/long walk to falls thru jungle. The constant background noise of falls made us feel like we are always near to it (later we found out that this noise is from small streams and small waterfalls on d way).

Ok, here I found one love-making couple in d jungle red handed!!

We walked thru lotsa red dust until our shoes had all d coatings of red. We crossed few streams where we need to remove the shoes and rest of d journey bare-foot. It was fun. I even spotted one elphant on d way. Anyways reached falls soon, bathed there for around an hour under fall. Posing naked (not literally) under fall for camera, is so much fun.. [:P] and we all were like enjoying it like heaven. some got bruised on slippery rocks and hurt themselves too. But then, lifes all about enjoying the moments and not bothering about the small small accidents.

Too good a trip... must been a lifetime of journey where we hardly slept for saturday and still felt so much refreshed at the end of teh journey!!!
Thnx to our driver, he knew about this place and where to go and where to stay for how much time, so it helped a lot, too!! and Thnx to Karthick for translating drivers tamil to our hindi [:P] and planning this trip out. Thnx to all who made it to the trip thru their busy schedules of work and burdon. But afterall, its so releiving to go outta city traffic and back into the arms of nature!!! Certainly better than hanging out at same old forum/MG/Brigade and dining to those costly tasteless restaurents !!
